I have been a long-time Lightroom user and it’s a bit of a shock when you see the pro’s selling it. I’m using it alongside ACR and will say the Together review is really a good collection of both products. The price tag is a bit below the competition (and it’s not a cheap app). I’m wondering if it’s just because LR5 is solid as anything other apps are. I doubt it since FF6 is fine and stars the compression ratio. A suggestion for reviews is we should have an average overall rating, but instead of adding or subtracting points based on stars it should be done on a percentage scale. Otherwise, I agree with the overall rating, not 1.0, I’m not sure of what a “perfect” score is. Also, if it’s just dollars and cents, anything under $130 is cheap and if priced at $219 or more then the app resonates with me as being more premium. It seems that if they would price LR5 at $60 or $80 then it would become more acceptable to the consumer. If they would go as low as $40 but make the app slower that would really be something to think about too. Anyway, I agree and enjoy the review tool. Suggestion on the next release, reduce the amount of posts at one time. I tend to scroll a bit too much to see all the comments in quick time. I hope we’ll get a decent camera port soon as well, some time ago I finally got an Ixus after it was released. I wouldn’t mind getting it running with Lr and connecting it to my desktop somehow just to see. I’ll be checking this out in the future and will continue to read reviews as usual.
